Spillers Lite & Lean Balancer is a low calorie, nutrient dense equine feed balancer suitable for good doers and those prone to laminitis.

Feeding a balanced diet to your horse or pony is important for optimum health and well-being. Horses and ponies are individuals, with individual requirements and sometimes do not require the recommended level of compound feed to meet their energy requirements. However, feeding less than the recommended amount of compound can lead to long term deficiencies and an unbalanced diet. This is particularly the case when horse are fed forage or grass alone.

Spillers Lite Balancer is suitable for all good doers and overweight horses and ponies and those prone to laminitis to be fed alongside a suitable low calorie compound feed or forage only diets. Spillers Lite Balancer is whole cereal free, low starch non-heating formulation which is less likely to produce excitable behaviour in some horses and ponies when fed at the recommended rate.

Spillers Lite Balancer contains excellent protien sources rich in essential amino acids often lacking in restricted rations for overweight horses and ponies and is formulated with live probiotic yeast to support digestive health. Spillers Lite Balancer also contains a comprehensive range of vitamins and minerals to balance the diet and provide optimum nutrition with magnesium known for its calming properties, a blend of nutrients to support hoof health including biotin, methionine, calcium, organic zinc and copper, added soya oil for a healthy coat and skin and is high in important antioxidants such as vitamin E, vitamin C and organic selenium for immune support.
