In the unlikely event that your product develops a fault then please e-mail or phone so that we can decide on the best course of action. Leeders Animal Supplies are dedicated to ensuring your shopping satisfaction. If you have any problems, suggestions or comments please e-mail us using the link at the top of the page.

Back Orders:

We do not operate a back order system. If your order or part order is not in stock we will contact you to see if you would like to cancel the out of stock item or wait for the whole order to be available before despatch.

Returns Policy:

We are not liable for costs incurred in the return of cancelled orders.

You will be refunded within 14 days by the same method as initial payment was made.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 days for a refund, excluding the cost of delivery. We shall be entitled to recover all costs, loss, charges and expenses incurred in connection with goods returned not saleable as new i.e damaged packaging. You are responsible for the cost, risk of loss and damage when returning the goods so you should take out enough insurance to cover their value. Some items cannot be returned if they are opened i.e feedstuffs. Please contact us first by phone 01508 570104 or e-mail enquiries@leedersanimalsupplies.co.uk stating the reason.

It is essential that you include a covering note in the parcel stating order number, name and contact number, fault or problem and whether you would like a refund or exchange. We advise you to obtain a proof of postage in order to claim if the item does not reach us, as we cannot refund on items not delivered back to us. Please send the parcel to:

For faulty goods, if we require them to be returned, then you will send them back via your own means and if they are deemed faulty then we can credit you for the postage and credit, refund or arrange to replace the item.

We know that when you shop online not everything is always as is it seems. The colour might not be as described or you imagined, they are sized differently or you just realised that you do not need it anymore as you may have found it cheaper else where (I doubt it!!).

Click & Collect:

To order and collect in store please follow these instructions:

 Please allow up to 7 working days for your order to be ready.

  1. Order your item as normal by adding it to your shopping basket.
  2. At check out select the Collect from Store in the delivery options.
  3. Enter your details and complete the online payment.
  4. Once completed print off the order confirmation.
  5. You will then receive an e-mail when your order is ready for collection.
  6. Bring in your order confirmation to store to collect your goods.


Surcharges also apply to deliveries to the Highlands and islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, and the Isles of Man, White, and Scilly. Please ring before ordering for a postage quote.

Courier deliveries are made Monday to Friday 8.00 to 5.30 excluding Public & Bank Holidays.

We suggest opening the packaging as soon as possible after delivery to check contents. Shortage must be notified within 24 hours of delivery.

If signed for without checking or it is left without a signature and the contents are found to be damaged we must be notified within 24 hours of delivery and photographic evidence supplied before we consider the claim.

If you sign for the goods you are accepting that they have been delivered and are in good condition. Please check the number of parcels and any external damage.

If our couriers have made adequate attempts to delivery with no success, and no other delivery instructions were given, then additional charges for redelivery may be made. We do ask that you give us details of where the goods can be left safely if you are not home, either on the grounds or with a neighbour. Please do not leave notes for the driver as this alerts people of your absence.

We aim to keep you informed via e-mail of the progress of your order.

Delivery of items from stock to mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland will normally be made within 5 working days of order (working days are classed as Mon-Fri not including Public & Bank Holidays). If any items are out of stock we will contact you and if you are prepared to wait delivery could be up to 14 days.

Delivery charges are calculated by weight. Parcels up to 1Kg will be sent by parcel post at a cost of £3.50. Parcels 1Kg and above will be sent by courier and will cost £5 upto 20Kg. Express next working day delivery is available at a surcharge of £3 for orders received before 12pm. Orders placed at the weekend will be despatched on the next working day.

We aim to keep postage costs as low as possible.

We offer free delivery in the local area of NR18. We can also deliver to other local postcodes, minimum spend of £50 applies. Please ring 01508 570104 for details and areas covered.


The website uses paypal to take payment. If you do not have a paypal account, we can take card payments by phone if required. Please ring the shop on 01508 570104.  The shop is open 9am-5.30pm Monday to Saturday, Excluding Bank Holidays and seasonal variations.
